Care Instructions
As with other freediving wetsuits (open cell), these suits need to be lubricated prior to entry. The rubber will slide on easily with a little water and conditioner mixed together. Simply mixing water with a small portion of hair conditioner works well. Applying this solution to all interior surfaces helps to get into them. The design of these suits is one of a clinging secure fit. This is what helps keep you warm and enjoy the comfortable ergonomic cuts.
After use, rinse the suit thoroughly with fresh water then I hang it to dry inside-out first…care like this will help to avoid bacteria growth within the suit.
Important Note
Putting on this type of wetsuit “inside out” to check the fit is not always so accurate, especially in the thicker rubbers. Putting them on wet and properly conditioned is always the best.
The size chart is a guideline. If you need any help ascertaining your size please contact me.
Open cell wetsuits require a little extra caution in their handling…avoid grabbing the rubber with fingernails. Always remove the knife and sheath from the velcro pocket before putting the suit on and before taking it off.
